Fairy shrimp Branchinella Thailandensis Sanoamuang breeding approach
This Fairy shrimp species originated from Thailan which is why these Tadpole Shrimp without shells prefer rather warm temperatures. Often, however, they are used as feed for fish, which is a shame we find, given their beautiful blaze of color, a mix of the colors blue, white and red. These Fairy shrimp from Asia are an enriching for every apartment. This Fairy shrimp seem to glide through the water almost weightlessly. They lay a lot of eggs, similarly to Triops, which they just release on the ground. You do not necessarily need aquarium sand because, unlike Triops, Fairy shrimp have no interest in digging and rootling, but prefer floating around the aquarium in a cheerful manner.
This Fairy shrimp feels at ease at temperatures of about 24 °Celsius. They eat much less than Triops and also do not require as many different types of food. You can feed the Fairy shrimp our 100% Spirulina algae powder over their entire life.
You will be amazed when you see Fairy shrimp swimming around your aquarium for the first time.
