Food package for Triops
This food package is optimally adapted to the needs and breeding stages of the Triops. So you have the right food for every age of the Triops. Create a balanced diet for your Triops. Even animals like variety on the menu and you can offer them through this food package.
Our poultry feed consists of 100% Spirulina algae powder. It is characterized by a high content of proteins and carbohydrates. This forms the basis for healthy and strong Triops. The young food should be fed in the first two weeks, because during this time, the Triops have no chewing tools, but filter their food from the water.
Feed the poultry feed during the first two weeks.
The rearing feed is already a granular feed for the Triops. It is easy to crush and can be very well absorbed by the Triops. Our rearing feed contains a high proportion of algae and thus provides a good basis for a stable tank and a smooth moulting of the Triops.
Wheat, corn, fishmeal, crayfish flour, yeast, wheat germ, extruded soybean meal, dried eggs, cod liver oil, dried algae and astaxantin.
Feed the poultry feed for the first two to four weeks.
The staple food is very rich in vitamins and serves as an optimal source of nutrition for healthy Triops. If it’s too big for your Triops, you can just crush it between your fingers.

Feed the poultry feed from the fourth week.
Daphnia serve as supplementary feed. Daphnia are dried water fleas and have low fat, but many proteins. From time to time you can add a few daphnia to your Triops to the aquarium, they will enjoy their treat.

This food package is not suitable for all prehistoric crabs, because components are too large, for example, for fairy shrimp. Our food package is ideal for all types of Triops and is usually sufficient for a complete rearing of 5 animals.
